Searching for the perfect balance of corn, wheat, rye and malted barley, we’ve been hunting for that perfect ratio of grains to yield a smooth yet complex flavor profile that just illuminates your taste buds.  And once we capture that, a barrel finish from a rich, bold red wine cask to add one more layer of dimension.

Tommyrotter’s Napa Valley Heritance Cask Straight Bourbon Whiskey’s greatness is rooted in four simple elements: a painstakingly explored four grain mashbill, a bold over-proof final ABV, the exclusion of any chill filtration and a cask finish to leave an indelible imprint on your palate.

Our four grain mashbill captures the sweetness of corn, the spice of rye, the softness of wheat and the smoky notes of malted barley.  Our high bottling proof leaves all the wonderful flavors intact and gives the drinker some personal opportunity to explore their preferred dilution.  Our refusal to chill filter leaves natural fatty acids, esters and proteins in place, resulting in a product truer to form, flavor and color. And finally, a rest in hand selected oak barrels that are thoroughly soaked through with the rich, bold Cabernet Sauvignon’s that Taub Family Selections are known for, creating a deeper, more complex bourbon with a deliciously ‘cherried’ finish  that lingers on the pallet, just long enough, to remind you of the place from which it came.
