Our four grain mashbill captures the sweetness of corn, the spice of rye, the softness of wheat and the smokey notes of malted barley. Our high bottling proof leaves all the wonderful flavors intact and gives the drinker some personal opportunity to explore their preferred dilution. Our refusal to chill filter leaves natural fatty acids, esters and proteins in place, resulting in a product truer to form, flavor and color. And finally, a rest in hand selected oak barrels that are thoroughly soaked through with the rich, bold Cabernet Sauvignon’s that Taub Family Selections are known for, creating a deeper, more complex bourbon with a deliciously ‘cherried’ finish that lingers on the pallet, just long enough, to remind you of the place from which it came.
